Abbitt Realty is thrilled to welcome Cat Evans to our Hampton office.
Cat comes to Abbitt after 24 years as an engineer with the U.S. Coast Guard. Originally from New Jersey, she moved to Hampton Roads in 2005 with the Coast Guard and currently lives in Hampton. Cat is an avid cyclist and enjoys spending time with her husband Thor and their two kids.
Cat is excited to join the Abbitt family and looks forward to serving her clients every step of the way.

Why did you decide to pursue a career in real estate?
I decided to pursue a career in real estate for the flexibility and because I like challenges. I am really drawn to the problem solving aspect of the business . . . No two people or needs will ever be the same.
What do you love about your job?
I love Abbitt, everyone has been extremely helpful and supportive. The company truly has a family environment and if I have a question someone is always happy to answer. And I am impressed with all the training that I have received since joining Abbitt.
What do you like most about your home?
What I like most about my house is that my boys wreck it every day!!!
What’s your favorite thing to do in Hampton Roads?
My favorite thing to do in Hampton Roads is ride my bicycle. I am currently training for a century (100 mile) ride in the beginning of October. My friend and I have spent a lot of time on the road training for this.
What’s your favorite place to eat on the Peninsula?
My favorite place to eat on the Peninsula would be Crab Town in Hampton, on the rare occasion when we do get to go out and eat something other than Chick-fil-a 🙂
