Abbitt Realty is proud to announce it’s Oyster Point Managing Broker, Stephen Abbitt, has been awarded the Virginia Peninsula Association of REALTORS (VPAR) 2016 Managing Broker of the Year award.
VPAR’s award for Managing Broker of the Year is presented to brokers based on their accomplishments in several areas: association participation, civic service, office sales performance and professional knowledge.
Born and raised in a real estate family, Stephen’s late father and grandfather were both past presidents of Abbitt Realty. Stephen started formally working for Abbitt in 2006 where he quickly grew his experience in residential sales, land brokerage, apartment management, residential rental management, commercial management, commercial leasing and marketing. Stephen is also an active member of the community, believing heavily in the importance of civic involvement. Currently, he volunteers with Riverside Health System, the Virginia Living Museum, Habitat for Humanity, the Peninsula School for Autism, the Virginia Peninsula Association of Realtors and Hampden-Sydney College.
